Why Use Homeopathic Remedies?
* Homeopathic remedies are safe. .
* Homeopathic remedies encourage the immune system to heal instead of suppressing symptoms.
* Homoeopathic remedies are manufactured and labeled under specifications recognized by the United State Federal Drug Administration (FDA).
* Homeopathic remedies have been safely and effectively used for over 200 years.
* There are no additives, fillers, etc. to cause allergic reactions.
* Homeopathic remedies are not habit forming or fattening and has no known adverse side effects
* Aggravation can occur, but are relatively rare and short lived. Normally stopping the dose will antidote the effects of the aggravation. If stopping does not work, feeding or aromatically introducing a food or scent with a strong odor will generally antidote an aggravation.
An aggravation is when the body is over stimulated to heal itself. If an aggravation does occur, taking a lower strength is normally indicated.

How Do They Work?
* Homeopathic remedies encourage the immune system to heal instead of suppressing symptoms. Symptoms are the bodys efforts to heal and should be stimulated and not suppressed.
* The key to using homeopathic remedies is the diagnosis of the problem. This is best done by a qualified homeopathic veterinarian.
* Homeopathic Materia Medica reference books are used by homeopathic veterinarians or consultants to determine which remedy is required for your cats problem.
How Do You Take Them?
* The use of homeopathic remedies to maintain your cats health provides a non-invasive method of maintaining a cats health.
* A dose is considered as the number of times a remedy is taken, not the number of pills. The number of pills is not critical except in low strengths (4x/c and under).
* Three to five pills is a convenient number of pills for both cats and humans.
* Pour pills from the container into the cap and toss them into the mouth. If needed, a dose may be dissolved in water prior to giving the remedy.

How Often Do You Take Them?
* Repeat as directed by your practitioner or in accordance with the label.
* As soon as improvement occurs, reduce or stop the dose.
* Repeat as necessary if the condition recurs.
* Rarely are remedies taken for extended periods of time. Even for chronic conditions, the remedy will work better if stopped as soon as there are signs of improvement.
The key to this strategy is to avoid the problem of the body building up immunity against the stimulating effects of the remedy.
How Do You Store Them?
* Remedies remain effective for years when kept at room temperature in a dry dark place.
* Avoid touching/contaminating them. Never put a pill back into the container after it has been touched.
* Avoid temperatures higher than 130 Fahrenheit.

What is a Potency?
* A potency denotes the strength of the remedy. Potencies are identified by a number and a letter. The higher the number, the higher the strength.
* Higher potencies/strengths are not always better than lower potencies.
Our manufacturer recommends that you start low and go higher only if necessary.

What Does the Letter in a Potency Mean?
* An x or c denotes the method of potentisation and does not signify better or worse. It is just a different way of making the remedy. X is made with one apart crude material to 9 parts dilutant. C is made with one part crude to 99 parts dilutant.
* The strength is made higher as the product is further diluted and succussed (vigorously pounded). In the lower levels there is more of the crude material, but once the potency reaches 24x/12c, there are no molecules of the crude left.

Homeopathic remedies may be used to help with behavior problems as well as health problems.
* By keeping our cats indoors, we keep them safe from outside dangers, but in changing their environment, we also introduce other stressful situations into out cats lives.
* Behavior problems may result from stress, or may be an instinctive behavior which becomes a behavior problem when the cat is confined indoors.
* Constant stress can cause both behavior and physical health problems.
* Most dry cat foods contain more grains than meat. Although cat food manufacturers attempt to provide a nutritionally complete food for our cats by adding vitamins and minerals to the cat foods, these foods still contain too much grains and too little meat for a cats diet.

The best method of health maintenance we can provide for our cats is a combination of veterinarian treatment and homeopathic and herbal supplements to help promote a healthy immune system.

* Homeopathic, Herbal, and food supplements are normally recommended to balance deficiencies of minerals, trace elements and vitamins.

* A single homeopathic, herb, or food supplement may interact with multiple body functions simultaneously. Each herb or food contains a variety of biochemical contents which combine to produce a unique complex energy.

* When selecting a remedy, it is always best to match as many symptoms as possible to those that the remedy lists. Matching the most symptoms will provide the best remedy for the problem.
